RULES:

Please keep all material you post or links to other materials legal according to Australian law.

Please keep all posts on topic to the purpose of the website, which is advertising your books. Refrain from making joke posts or posts that would be better suited for social media.

Please post only about legitimate books. The bigboard is only for books that are currently out. In the miniboard, you can advertise presales up to a week before release.

Avoid posting url shorteners that obscure the true desination or links to illegal or dangerous sites and content.

Avoid posting scams and phishing links.

Due to the large amount of frauds and scams pretending to be publishers, no organisations that claim to be publishers are allowed to advertise here.

Avoid posting links to images or to direct file downloads. You can post links to websites that can contain images but have other puposes (e.g. where your book is sold) but do not post links to images or links to resources that look like they are solely there to contain a collection of images or files.

Avoid posting contact details including, but not limited to, emails, phone numbers, locations of physical addresses.

Avoid posting excess personal information (e.g. someone's credit card details, your birthday, etc.)

Avoid vulgar language in your ads. Some slight vulgar language may be allowed if the title of the book has it, but please keep your advertisements as clean as you can. Advertising erotic books is allowed, however avoid excess vulgar language in your ad. Books with overly vulgar titles may be removed.

Advertising books about religious subjects are allowed, but advertising religious books and texts are not. (e.g. Books about theology or someone's personal experience with religion are allowed.)

Avoid troublesome behaviour such as spamming, using advertisements to communicate and argue with each other, tagging your ads in entirely wrong catergories, impersonation, and more.

You accept that I am dictator and that I can ban anyone for any reason, and that reason will not be communicated because this site doesn't have the functionality.

These rules can be subject to change.

Terms and conditions:

You will not try to leak data, hack into the website, put viruses into my website, or try to compromise it in anyway.

You will not directly clone everything on my site.

You accept that you will use this site at your own risk and will not press charges against me or seek compensation for any damages that may occur. You accept that the information on this website is unverified and that you use user submitted info at your own risk.

Submitters are responsible for the content in their data, but by submitting to here, you grant me the license to store that data and transmit that data to anyone that accesses the site.

Privacy Policy:

All data a user sumbits in a post is stored on French servers in Paris. For moderation purposes, every post, and every request to hide a post, has an Internet Protocol address associated with it. Banned Internet Protocol addresses are kept on the same database. The Internet Protocol address is not shown publicly.

In an ideal situation, only the admin (me) should have access to the database, and also possibly the people who host the french servers. I cannot guarantee the ideal situation will always hold though.

If you submit illegal things, or if law enforcement asks me to give what information I have, this data may be given to law enforcement.

When you hide a post, it gets sent to a deletion queue that will make the post self destruct after seven days. It will no longer be in the database. Older posts that get removed due to the database reaching capacity are also deleted.

When you conduct a search, some search data is logged. What is logged is the search time, which checkbox tags you have chosen to include or exclude, the age bracket you chose to search for (above 7 years old, above 12 years old, above 17 years old), the price bracket you searched for (above 0 dollars, above 3, above 5, above 10, above 20) and which circle-checkbox (also called radio) option you chose for your results to be sorted/displayed, and date and time the search was made. No data where the user types it in is saved, and no Internet Protocol addresses are associated with the d ata. Everybody's search data may be sold to third parties, or be made available for you to buy.

You accept that the security for this website isn't excellent, and leaks may be possible. You accept that you will use this site at your own risk and will not press charges against me or seek compensation for any damages that may occur.

hcaptcha will be used to prevent robots.

They are not currently there, but there are potential plans to put google adsense banner ads on the website so I can earn money.

Google and hcaptcha may harvest your data in must more complex ways.

here's the text hcaptcha gives us when we use their services:

hCaptcha We use the hCaptcha security service (hereinafter "hCaptcha") on our website. This service is provided by Intuition Machines, Inc., a Delaware US Corporation ("IMI"). hCaptcha is used to check whether user actions on our online service (such as submitting a login or contact form) meet our security requirements. To do this, hCaptcha analyzes the behavior of the website or mobile app visitor based on various characteristics. This analysis starts automatically as soon as the website or mobile app visitor enters a part of the website or app with hCaptcha enabled. For the analysis, hCaptcha evaluates various information (e.g. IP address, how long the visitor has been on the website or app, or mouse movements made by the user). The data collected during the analysis will be forwarded to IMI. hCaptcha analysis in the "invisible mode" may take place completely in the background. Website or app visitors are not advised that such an analysis is taking place if the user is not shown a challenge. Data processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) of the GDPR: the processing of personal data is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the website visitor is party (for example, the website terms) or in order to take steps at the request of the website visitor prior to entering into a contract. Our online service (including our website, mobile apps, and any other apps or other forms of access offered by us) needs to ensure that it is interacting with a human, not a bot, and that activities performed by the user are not related to fraud or abuse. In addition, processing may also be based on Art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR: our online service has a legitimate interest in protecting the service from abusive automated crawling, spam, and other forms of abuse that can harm our service or other users of our service. IMI acts as a "data processor" acting on behalf of its customers as defined under the GDPR, and a "service provider" for the purposes of the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
